Partner with us for Serve Sunday!

On April 29th the first inaugural Serve Sunday will launch as a day when hundreds of members from our local congregations and throughout our community will come together to invest in the betterment of our town—and we want you to be a part of it.

Why are we doing this?

Its simple. Too many people and organizations are known for what they’re against. We want to be known by what we’re FOR—and we are #FORMARKLE. We love our town and the people in it. We want to be a part of making it even better for ourselves and for the generations who will come after us.

How can you get involved?

1) We need projects to tackle. We will be mobilizing people to serve from 10:00am to Noon on Sunday, April 29th. Do you have a project at your home or place of business that we could work on? What could we do with a handful of people and a couple of hours of free labor that would be helpful to you? Cleaning? Painting? Building? We’re up for anything! (**The deadline to submit a project request is March 2nd.**)

2) We need people to tackle projects. Would you like to serve alongside us? Do you have family/friends/co-workers you might convince to join you? Great! We’d love to have you.

3) We need your help to spread the word. Encourage others to submit projects. Invite your family, friends, and co-workers to serve with you on April 29th. And spread the word by using the social media graphics below to post about Serve Sunday and the #FORMARKLE campaign on your social media profiles. You can also click here for access to a printable poster.

She was great because they had loved her.”
